About Dr. Rhina Lovo

Clinical experience with a compassionate presence.

An EMDR-centered, integrative approach grounded in science, cultural responsiveness, and respect for each person's pace.

Who I am

Dr. Rhina Lovo is a Puerto Rico–licensed psychologist and clinical psychotraumatologist with nearly 30 years of clinical experience and more than 25 years integrating EMDR into psychotherapy.

Her approach combines scientific knowledge, deep clinical experience, and compassionate presence. Rather than applying one method to every person, she develops an individualized plan based on each client's history, symptoms, strengths, nervous-system needs, cultural context, and goals.

Her clinical work is grounded in the belief that healing involves more than reducing symptoms. Therapy can also support greater self-understanding, emotional freedom, meaningful connection, resilience, and psychological growth.
